            This is the band’s second dvd after the 2001’s Live Aus Berlin release. Lichtspielhaus contains about 210 minutes of video clips, live footage, documentaries and many more cool things. The dvd has a clever menu system to navigate and the fact that we finaly have all the excellent video clips of this band on on dvd is a big plus. The video clips on the dvd are :

The “Making Of“ videos are very interesting and for about 20 minutes each they explain how the video was shot with comments from the band’s members and cut scenes. Great job has been done on this part of the dvd with the video clips and their documentaries.
            Apart from the video clips a Special Features section offers some commercials and other Rammstein specials from TV. Also there is a credits section with who did what on this release.

            The Live section of the dvd offers some interesting live footage of the band but the big minus is that it has too many pre-Mutter songs that we already have on Live Aus Berlin. They should have filled this section with Mutter era songs that we don’t have on dvd. The live section gives us the choice between 6 different concerts from which we can watch 1 or 2 songs. The live songs featured on this section are:

The live footage is of top quality with great camera angles and good sound.

The final option of the dvd lets you do some settings and chose subtitles for German, English, French, Spanish and Japanese. The subtitles work on the Making Of documentaries. The sound options available for this dvd are Stereo and 5.1 Multichannel.

This is a dvd for all Rammstein fans who’d like to have everything gathered in one dvd. The documentaries are great to watch for a couple of times and the live footage although it has just 2 songs from Mutter is still great.Rammstein’s live shows are probably the best in the world. Very good job has been done on this dvd, if you like Rammstein get it with no hesitations.
