Sensations and depth

This album is destinated to be one of the unforgettable ever!!!! "Black Halo” represents the magniloquence, the power, the intensity, the sadness....In this masterpiece the music buries in the heart of deep sensations, sung and played with a unique interpretation, in which the band delivers a pure masterpiece!!

Powerful guitars, great rhythmic session, and a singer that gets a great technique and a great voice!!!!! Eletronic sound is perfectly mixed to the dreaming keyboards!!

The production is absolutely perfect! The participation of Dimmu Borgir singer in the opener "March of Mephisto" together with Jens johnsson (Stratovarius) is one more reason to be interested to this great opera!

It's just a pure masterpiece, in which  the progressive metal parts are justified by the soul of the songs....and it's just the moment to say that Kamelot are one of the best band ever in this style!

Roy is able to sing with different timbres in a great way! Try to listen the great first "March of Mephisto" that is pure power-prog with a particular dark mood!!! The song gets a melancholic refrain into a powerful song. Roy 's voice is completely different in "The haunting" a very heart-attack song in which it's impossible not to be amazed listening to the great refrain!

"Soul society" is another emotional song in which I can't but mention the ability to  make amazing song'structures!! Great melodies, and great rhythmic session, able to give feeling to the songs!

Roy is still the protagonist in "Abandoned" in which he sings the strophe with a deep and passional voice! The song is a crying power-metal ballad full of intensity.

"This pain" is another sad power-metal song in which the great work is made by the rhythmic session (guitars too)!!!  It may be a not inspired refrain but Kamelot are able to be emotional by the perfect way to give a  structure to the songs.

The title track is pure epic-power metal that remind me of the best  Symphony X ,but it's still not finished! Kamelot amaze me with the powerful and great riff of "Nothing ever dies", that is one of my favourite song of this album.

"Momento Mori" is a classic epic-power metal song full of darkness full of sadness and melancholy. Another not unforgettable song is the last track of this album "Serenade", even if it is agreeable.

This album is a masterpiece...A pure masterpiece of sensations and depth.
