It was evident that the most hidden passion of Ville Laihiala was
Lovemetal. It may be for the passion and the charm belonging to this
kind of music that has left an impression into his heart. This is
another gothic band created by Ville in which he gives free reign to
his hidden passions although in this case he plays guitar!!!!!!!!
He's not a bad guitarist and in the band there are: Charon's singer
Leppaluoto ,Janne Kukkonen (bass) e Marco Sneck(Keyboards). This work is
nothing original, and takes inspiration from a kind of music
full of love & passion but that it's becaming a fashion for all
new bands.
The inspirations are: the latest Sentenced cd, Entwine
and...Charon...why not???A good artwork has been
created in according with the kind of music....and that's it!!!!!!
In my opinion i'm sure that
Sentenced fans don't not appreciate this cd, and may
consider it an useless purchase ....considering that this album sounds
too much similar to other bands.
A negative note goes to Leppaluoto's voice that seems too much
similar to Ville's voice(Sentenced) and it's not able to be emotional.
There are too many imitations in this work......are all these
musicians losing their inspirations?? Among all the
songs i notice the for me evident plagiarism of bass-intro in "Loveinfernal"
that seems to be taken from "No more Tears" by Ozzy
Osburne!!!!! Among gothic ballads and few speed parts, i may
find something good in "In lust" and a good dark hard
rock in "The exciter"......too many few songs to
consider this work as a good cd.....this is an useless purchase.

Che la passione più nascosta di Ville
Laihiala(sentenced vocalist) fosse il lovemetal lo avevamo intuito.....forse
perchè il fascino e la passione degli H.I.M. degli esordi avevano
conquistato anche il suo cuore....Eccoci qui con questa ennesima
gothic band che Ville ha creato per dar dar sfogo alle sue passioni
nascoste..anche se il nostro stavolta è nelle vesti di CHITARRISTA!!!!Non
se la cava mica male Ville; supportato dal cantante degli Charon
Leppaluoto ,Janne Kukkonen (basso) e Marco Sneck(tastiere) per questo
progetto che non farà gridare al miracolo e che secondo me va a
ricalcare uno stereotipo di musica, ammaliante e quanto mai seducente
ma che rischia ormai di inflazionarsi considerato che tutti cercano di
suonarlo; Traccie degli ultimi Sentenced, un pò di Entwine e perchè
no...anche di Charon...un buon artwork in piena sintonia con il genere
suonato, e il gioco è fatto. Ma il problema di fondo è che sono
sicuro che i fans di Sentenced (ultima generazione) troveranno
abbastanza superfluo l'acquisto di un album senz'altro buono ma
tutt'altro che originale. Una menzione negativa va fatta alla voce di
Leppaluoto che come negli Charon appare un tantino artefatta, poco
emozionale e davvero troppo simile a Laihiala in versione
Sentenced...insomma un bel pò di copiature...imitazioni....sarà mica
che tutti questi personaggi stanno perdendo la vena creativa?.....Tra
le altre segnalo l'evidente plagio del giro di basso di "Loveinfernal"
al famoso intro di "No more tears" di Ozzy Osburne!!!!Tra
ballate gotiche e qualche sporadica accelarazione si intravede
qualcosa di buono in" In lust" e nell'hard rock oscuro di
"The exciter". Davvero poco....acquisto superfluo
decisamente!!!!!!!!!!
