Incredible originality.

The Italian way to melodic female metal is not only Lacuna Coil

It’s not a case that this band has been nominated the best Italian band in 2007.

The LoveCrave comes out  with an album that will be not forgotten! The atmospheres that cover this album are very original and gets the best of gothic rock and a certain kind of pop metal style mixed to melancholic visions..

Francesca Chiara confirms its unmistakable fashion with a very great timbre; the songs are full of melodies, well arranged with a sound that is the basis of the essence of the band.

Believe me…this band is  worthy of all the consideration you can give...and after the good “The Angel and the Rain”, in my opinion this new album is a pure jewel of gothic metal…
Since the opener “The Other Me” you’ll be immersed into a magic song characterized by a very melancholic refrain well arranged in which the stopped guitar riffs is supported by a great keyboard…and the suffered Francesca’s voice .
...”And Scream” is another jewel in which the hot Francesca’s voice is the protagonist of the melody; a great mid tempo song in which the arrangement puts in evidence the great work of keyboard and electro loops.
”Warriors” gets an unforgettable refrain that can’t but be considered a very great gothic anthem!
The next track is a suffering ballad…it calls “Fade” that is full of feelings , and I underline the great work of all components that create this song; the melody is wonderful…….
The next one “Get Outta Here” is another fantastic track!!! What a melody!!! Comparisons??? It’s difficult for me…there’s a shadow of Lullacry …but the characteristic of this band is to get an incredible originality, although the melodies and the songs gets the usual elements…strophe, refrain…ecc…The secret is the arrangement and the mood created by the band through fantastic melodies.
It’s time to celebrate M.Jackson….and the song covered is “Thriller”…the band is able to amaze me with an incredible version, that is the mark of the band…a very original way to re-arrange the song, that doesn’t seem a cover song.
“Your Fire” is another pearl in which the melancholic side of the band is unquestionable…Francesca finds an incredible mood that by now is the characteristic of the band.

Another ballad is “ Leon’s Lullaby” …what a crying song!!! Passion, romanticism, melancholic, hot, sensitiveness…and the list could go on…the crying piano is the background for the fantastic Francesca’s voice…that amazes us with an incredible interpretation.
For me the less beautiful song of this album is “Tru Blood” that in my opinion doesn’t get the same charm of the other songs; it’s  nearer to modern hard rock, without getting the usual mood, but fortunately it precedes the best song of the album that is the final track! It calls “Outsider”…There are no words to describe the fantastic mood created by this song…after a great intro sung by Francesca….the instrumental part is characterized by a fantastic keyboard and electronic effects …that create an incredible scenery of melancholic visions mixed to a light that seems to appear from the deep …Listening to this song….I suggest you to close your eyes…and dream!!!...The production of the album is perfect!

The Italian way to melodic female metal is not only Lacuna Coil…The LoveCrave confirms to realize another unforgettable album that even if in my opinion gets one not great track, it is surely one of the best album in this 2010.
