NEWS JANUARY - FEBRUARY 2025

 

 

 Formed in 2015 in Hell, a village located in Norway (yes you read it: Hell),  CHONTARAZ deliver theatrical shows, signature makeup, and storytelling.
Their debut "Rondamauh" (2017) was produced by Daniel Bergstrand (In Flames,
Meshuggah).
CHONTARAZ strike back now evolved into a Norwegian-Greek powerhouse with their third
album "Phantom of Reality" (2025). Newest member Fotis "Narwhal" Benardo's production
and drumming complement Ahkon's guitar and Chontaraz's vocals.
CHONTARAZ unleash the first single "Scream"  on Feb 28, 2025 . "Scream" is taken off the upcoming album “PHANTOM OF REALITY” (May 9, 2025). The official video for 'Scream' can be watched here: https://youtu.be/aVVfdzTg6gU
"Scream " was produced by Fotis Benardo (who has become indeed Chontaraz drummer) and is a raw, intense track featuring a guest appearance by Sakis Tolis (ROTTING CHRIST).
The song is about burning desire and an unrelenting chase, where aggressive energy is mixed with soaring, cinematic choruses. 'Scream' will be followed by other two singles. Three songs that pave the way for the dark and modern dynamic metal of the album "Phantom of Reality".
More additional features on "Phantom of Reality", besides the guest appearance of Sakis Tolis on song 'Scream':
- George Nerantzis, responsible for keys and industrial add-ons on all songs
- Kjetil “DeadBit” Lindløkken on additional keys for "Spin The Wheel", "Prayer To The Masses" and "Dressed To Kill"
- Noxaerias (Kostas Mexis) on bass for live performances and music videos.

THE BAND ----> Formed in 2019 in Tampere, Finland, Beatrix plays fast and aggressive black thrash metal with influences from the new wave of British heavy metal.
