Modern Rock is here

Third album for the ultra modern rock band captained by the leader Jared Leto...This is pure modern rock….not other definition….if I say that the rock in 70’s was that of bands like Led Zeppelin, Status quo etc….nowadays… this is the evolution!!!

This is the sound of new generation…and what a sound!!!!!This album confirms what the band has done till now…groovy modern riffs full of an ambient enriched by the great support electronic support and loops…
The pattern is the usual one...and there are many potential singles that gets all the right elements for a great song!

If I have to make comparisons with the previous album…this new one doesn’t get the same charm concerning the whole groove but only concerning this aspect because if the previous albums gets more emo-rock sound …this new one tries to amaze us by the variety of sound ambient; in my opinion this album gets more maturity for that concerns the study of sound…that is improved and the band show us that is creating a very great mark of modern rock style…the production can’t but be the top, such as the arrangements.

The songs?? Ok…the single “Kings and Queens” is just perfect for to enter in your head by the great melody…such as the title track that is pure energy and gets a particular groove that is destinated to let people dance at their concert….It can’t but contain also a great emo part ….
For me the best song is Hurricane  feat. Kayne West ; it gets a great melancholic groove that is full of depth and sadness….of course…the modernism of sound is the mark of the band…everything is perfect!!!! What an emotion…this song!!

The emotions goes on with “Closer to the edge” that gets another succeeded refrain in which Jared shows his high pitched…
The modern rock of Vox Populi gets a mix of emo-rock and space-rock in a perfect way...and is followed by the catching melody of “Search and Destroy”.
The soft side of the band is all in “Alibi” that is sung with an intense voice and supported by a great arrangement in which a touching piano makes the main part!

I still underline the modern music of “Stranger in a strange Land” that is full of loops and gets a great electro arrangement without forgetting the typical pathos of the band….

The album is closed by the sadness of L490 that is an instrumental and suffering track characterized by a guitar arpeggio and developed by the usual perfect arrangement.

As I said before if the previous album is for me the best one of the 3 ones till now produced for that concerns the melodies… this albums releases more varieties of styles also for that concern the ambient and the use of loops…and electronic sound…
