Mixing
power, trash and progressive metal.
Eversin is a
band from Italy (Sicily) that comes out with the fourth album
produced by Mkm that has not missed the opportunity to launch a band
with good abilities that has created a valid cd that can be appreciated
by the metal fans who like Annihlator, Iced Earth, Nevermore, and not
only!…The personality of the band is to mix also (with good result )
influences of symphonic metal into classic power metal structures.
The production is not great, almost mediocre.. and it’s a shame
because this album would have been a better production worth…Good
ideas and good musicians, even if the style played is not easy and for
this reason, in my personal opinion, the band can still improve in
particular the melodic approach to the refrains.
Songs
like "Wings Ov Tears" or "Angel Of Silence" can’t
but denote a great engagement under all aspects…the compositions are
articulated, the good technique of musicians is evident….I still
underline that they’re very amazing in mixing power, trash and
progressive metal….
I like “Suddenly” in which the band is great to give emotions
through a very articulated structure…full of pace-changes and
well arranged also thanks to Mimmo Petrella ' s important support at the
keyboard.
I
underline the short but intense “In My Dreams They Live” that closes
this album in an intense way…
In
my opinion Eversin is a band that can still improve…but this album is
a good step forward….and I’m sure will be appreciated from all those
who likes Metal and similar….
