2)"Nihil Nisi Mors" is your latest album.Are you completely satisfied of this album?
Yes we are... When I remember every setback we had at the studio, I know it would have sounded different if we´d have the original mix that was lost from the dat. It´s music and you hear it. I don´t like autotunes, and constant fixing... I like it to sound honest, there for some critics are pointless.

3)I notice a very sad atmosphere in all songs and although your sound is very original in my opinion there are many points of reference...is it true?
Thank you. That must be because we are not trying to sound like anyone. But ofcourse I have to be grateful to great bands I listen. I like sad melodies and lyrics so that´s true.

4)Let's talk about the lyrics of your songs, which are the inspirations?
I admire a dead Finnish poet called Eino Leino, Poe, Nietzsche, Shakespeare. But everyday life and disappointments are the biggest inspiration.

5)There are many songs that remind me to Doom Classic atmosphere...which Doom bands do you like?

Black Sabbath, Shape of despair, Mdb, old Anathema and Katatonia, Asphyx,,, I just recently heard Novembers Doom and I liked the melodies a lot. Swallow the sun from Finland is my recent favourites.

6)Let's talk about your next live performances...
Are there any? We´d love to play but I think most of the places don´t know how to approach us. We don´t have management, but we´ll play in any good arranged fest or place. Contact rainpaint@rock.com if want us play.

7)In these latest years many melodic bands(in particoular in finland!) get success in many countries!!! Their style is influenced by gothic, but in my opinion true gothic metal is very far from thier music......What you think about melodic bands like HIM, ENTWINE,TO DIE FOR?

True gothic really is far from it. I hate their music. But HIM does not sound like this crap. They are much better and far more original. Rest of those bands are just copying HIM.

8)Give me three adjectives to describe your music.
Sad, compelling, elegant.

9)As last question i propose you our usual and typical Gryphonmetal last question.....i call this question 'The game of the Tower' ,..... so for you, there is a very high tower, and on the tower three bands are waiting for you and you have to push down two of them to let them fall, saving the third one: for you there are:

MY DYING BRIDE SENTENCED KATATONIA
To drop one would most certainly be Sentenced... Well, If the old cd's would still be available, I´d leave MDB and drop Katatonia and Sentenced.
