After half and one year Negative are back!!!! The Finnish band captained by the singer Jonne Aaron comes back with a good album that, compared with the previous one, puts in evidence an improvement under all aspects! Concerning the style , I notice more lovemetal & goth and less hard ' n' roll ..that in the previous release makes them too much nearer to 80's hard rock bands. There’s also the mark of TT Oksala (HIM, The 69 Eyes, Lordi etc.) that has given his important contribution as producer . 

The sound and  the production are better and the arrangements are very well set! Good compositions characterized by the usual stuff....strophe, refrain... as Hard rock teaches!...Not always original songs...but we already know that style needs to be deep, and Negative have been able to create very passional and intense songs. They give the best of themselves in ballads; they're able to compose a romantic atmosphere that gets the charm of lovemetal and the romanticism of classic hard-rock ballads...To give value to my opinion try to listen "About my Sorrow"...

Not all melodies are at the top, and for this reason I can't but admit they must still realize their masterpiece...but this 're following the good way!

The single " Frozen to lose it all" gets all the requirements to be the ever dream song of Sentenced! A super-melody and an involving guitar riff and it's in........like a perfect Sentenced song, sung with a powerful voice!

"Creeping inside" is a power mid-tempos nu-goth song in which the band seems to cry....a good song that shows the new direction of the band ...and the sadness that runs in their veins!

"Locked in their side" shows how is possible to describe deep feelings in few words...A deep song characterized by good keyboards and an intense melody!

"In my Heaven" is nothing special...and in this song it seems that band has not found the right inspiration while ...."My My /Hey Hey" seems to mix the classic Hard-Rock Warrant Style with  Charon in a good way!

"Neverending Paradise" is a good power ballad that is ready to make cry all the girls under the stage; in this song I underline an intense final part with a special guitar solo accompanied by an involving rhythmic session!

But for me the best song is the other ballad... "About my sorrow"! This song gets a fantastic charm....and what a perfect arrangment!!!!!!!Keyboards, acoustic guitar, piano seems to create a fantastic atmosphere while Jonne releases a fantastic melody!!!!!

"Until you're mine" is sung together with Ville Leihala!!! This song is another goth-hit!! The song gets all the elements of a perfect goth-lovemetal hit; Sad, intense....romantic!

As I said before there are also some not convincing song...In this list I put "L.A. Feeding Fire" ..a very boring hard rock song that seems an eruption of hard rock ; "Secret Forgiveness" is a good song but it seems something already 1000 times listened !

The album is closed by another power-ballad "Angel won't lie", good sad ballad with an involving refrain...a perfect song to close this album!!!!

In conclusion...This cd is nothing original but it gets very passionate moments and if you like this style be sure....This album won't disappoint you!!!!
